And now Max Roach?!?
Goddamn it. There's number three. I mean, if you count Merv Griffin as the first, then Phil Rizzuto, now Max Roach. Two of the three meant something to me. Rest easy, guys. Max fucking Roach...another true great that I never got to see in person. That's what you get for being a slacker.
